Our Approach to Privacy

Massetti Recruitment respects your privacy.  The following document outlines our privacy policy which we have developed in consultation with the Australian Privacy Act (1988).  This policy is designed to encompass Australian Laws and is subject to any requirements of local law in countries internationally.

Collecting your information

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

• Registration of Advertisers
• IP Addresses for monitoring the website static’s

If you are an Advertiser “client’ we collect personal information including Company name, contact name, title or position, company address, email address and contact phone number.  Where applicable other information may be requested including in special cases financial information.  We may collect other relevant information to assist you with enhancing our services to you.

If you are a job seeker or website visitor we collect your IP address for the purposes of monitoring our traffic and enhancing our services to our “clients” and “job seekers”.

Collecting your information and using the Massetti Recruitment websites

Massetti Recruitment generally only collects personal information from this websites when it is provided voluntarily by you.  For example Advertisers are required to fill in a form to subscribe and place an enquiry on the site and job seekers are required to complete a form to receive job alerts.

When you visit Massetti Recruitment or download information from it our ISP (Internet Service Provider) makes a record of your visit and record’s the following:

• Your IP Address
• The date and time of your visit
• The duration of your visit
• The number of pages you have downloaded
• Links from other sites they have followed to reach the Massetti Recruitment site
• The type of browser they use

This information is all anonymous and it is only used to statically improve our website.

How we use and disclose your information

We use information to improve our website and services to you.  We may also disclose information to our web design consultants and outside marketing agencies to better design our web site and marketing campaigns to improve our business. 

Jobseekers who register for job alerts can be anonymous other than their email address and may unsubscribe at any time.  Jobseekers will only receive emails regarding jobs alerts under the parameters that they have set.  Newsletters will only be sent to jobseekers who register.  Newsletters can be anonymous other than the email address and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Massetti Recruitment is bound by the Privacy laws of Australia and we will ensure at all times that your private information will be treated confidentially. 

All applications to jobs posted on Massetti Recruitment are made directly to Massetti Recruitment.  Letters of application, contact phone numbers, email addresses, resumes, CV’s and / or supporting documents are received by Massetti Recruitment.  We will only record the anonymous IP address for the purpose of reporting.

Use of Cookies

Automatic collection: Cookies: We may use a feature of your browser called a cookie to assign your computer a 'User ID'. Cookies contain information by which Massetti Recruitment can identify your computer to our servers. You may configure your browser so that you are notified before a cookie is downloaded or so that your browser does not accept cookies. Massetti Recruitment may use information contained in cookies to make assumptions about the user of the computer and to provide users of that computer with focused advertising that Massetti Recruitment believes may be of interest, based on that information. Indirect collection: Massetti Recruitment endeavours to collect personal information about an individual only from that individual. In some circumstances Massetti Recruitment may obtain personal information from a third party. If you provide personal information about another person to Massetti Recruitment, Massetti Recruitment requires that you inform that person you have done so and provide them with a copy of this policy.

Management and security of personal information
Massetti Recruitment has a Privacy Officer to oversee the management of personal information in accordance with this policy and the Commonwealth Privacy Act.
Massetti Recruitment protects the personal information Massetti Recruitment holds from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by various means including firewalls, pass word access, secure servers and encryption of credit card transactions.
